Planning Committee Needed!
We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help plan our School Holiday Fair.

Photo & Photo Retake Day
We’re looking for volunteers to assist in guiding children to their photo sessions. We also need help managing the student line, ensuring they look their best.

Pizza Friday’s – Jr. Campus
Pizza Fridays typically occur twice a month, and is exclusive to the Jr. Campus.
Sr. Campus, lunches are overseen by Miss Laura.
Task #1: Volunteers are needed to organize plates, juice, and treats by classroom and place them in their designated bags. This should be completed a few days before the distribution date, and takes roughly 1hr of volunteer time.
Task #2: On Pizza Day, volunteers will receive the pizza order, divide it for each class based on the distribution report, and then deliver the pizza and juice/treat bags to the respective classrooms.

TCBY events happen once a month. Volunteers will be responsible for sorting the orders by classroom, placing them into their designated freezer bags. This can be done a few days before the distribution date.

Student Corn Boil

Welcome Back Student Corn Boil! Join us as we shuck corn with the students right at the morning bell at both campuses. Afterwards, there lunch held at the Jr. Campus to bring together the Jr. and Sr. student bodies, where they can enjoy their corn and celebrate the start of the new school year.

We are in need of volunteers to accompany the children from their classrooms to the testing room throughout the day.
Grade 4 Vaccine Day

We are in search of one additional parent to assist during Vaccine Day, from 9 AM to 12 PM (noon).
Volunteers will be responsible for supervising students after they receive their shot, assisting in gathering classes, and managing traffic flow.
Scholastic Book Fair

This years Scholastic Book Fair will be held at the Sr. Campus.
Volunteers are need to set-up, help kids buy books, and assist in selling during portfolio night.
The Jr. Campus Winter Carnival

We’re searching for parents like you to join our Planning Committee and volunteer for Teacher Appreciation Week.
Join us in planning events, preparing gifts, and coordinating activities to celebrate and support the teachers and staff at both campuses.

Holiday Fair November 2022
Calling all bakers…
The Holiday Fair Bake Sale needs you!! It’s time to put on your aprons, break out your favourite recipes and make grandma’s special treats, your kids must have desserts and those sweets you just can’t live without.
Your items can be items that can be sold and eaten on the spot (a cookie, cupcake, square etc) or something that can be purchased to take home and enjoy with the family (a pie, a dozen donuts, banana bread loaf etc).
Want to help spread some Holiday Cheer?
Great events like the holiday fair need great people like you for it to be a success.
We encourage you to sign up with a friend or family member and spend a few hours on November 19th at the Holiday Cafe selling treats, in the Kids Only Gift Shop helping find that perfect present or on “Holiday Lane ” where there will a lot of fun activities for the lids to enjoy!

SJF has two Governing Boards , one for the Jr. Campus and one for the Sr. Campus
All parents are welcome to attend the GB meetings as members of the public.
While you cannot vote, you may express your opinion to your representatives about various issues.
Meeting dates are:
- Junior Governing Board: 1st Wednesday of the month
- Senior Governing Board: 2nd Wednesday of the month
- Home & School: 3rd Wednesday of the month
